YWSMI Group Branding

Excluding the InQuartik Corporation, YWSMI group subsidiaries are patent field-related companies. It's hard to identify company culture and style from each other precisely in design. Therefore we conduct this project and start with user research to discover the different styles of companies and define the design guidelines for further needs such as publication or official websites.

User Research

The fastest way to realize company culture and style is through the questionnaire. We can investigate what impression in colleagues' minds.
The questionnaire is divided into two parts. The first part asks about the company's culture and competitiveness, and the second part anthropomorphizes the company and images what lifestyle it will be.

Analysis

I collected the results for further quantitative and qualitative analysis after the questionnaire. From the testers' wording that they describe their company can find out the difference between the companies, and we can extend the unique difference to apply to design and develop their personality

Persona & Mood board

Develop the persona and mood board to image the brand's lifestyle according to the qualitative analysis results.

Visual Guideline

Through the Persona, define the visual guideline in color, imagery, and layout level.

Branding Guidelines

The branding guidelines were produced after further sorting out the analysis results, which were sorted and summarized in a more systematic way. In order to make it easier for colleagues to access the design materials, we converted the branding guidelines into the online version and centralized management.

Logotype

According to the persona, adjust the current logotype. To increase the recognizable in different devices and more modern style, use sans-serif font to replace serif font.

Design System

After the branding guidelines, we refactor the official websites of YWSMI subsidiaries. We develop the websites from UI Kits. Here we take the Wispro Technology Consulting Corporation for example.
